You can create fruits for you own display using a few items and your own creativity!
1. Go to your local craft store (Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc.) and look for silk or plastic flowers/plants that can be used for fruits. You need to look beyond the large flowers on the stem and look at the "filler" material to find items small enough to use. This will take some time, probably glasses, and creativity.
See below for an example:
2. Take the small "fruit-like" items off the larger stems.
3. Find baskets (craft store) and/or bowl-like buttons (JoAnn Fabric's or other fabric store) that could hold fruits.
4. Use hot glue to attach the "fruit-like items to the desired container. See below for finished product. The items that look like they are on plates are actually buttons.
