Hello,
I'm Robin. I became interested in Fontanini last year when I was searching Ebay for vintage Nativity scenes. I have two partial vintage sets from my grandmother-neither are Fontanini-but I saw my first Fontanini figures in my Nativity figure searches. I had never heard of the concept of an Easter scene and I decided I wanted to put together an Easter scene. My mother bought me a Nativity scene for Christmas so I decided to focus on Easter. I only own one figure, Mary Magdalene. I'm really in love with the Fontanini style. I'm always interested in the intricate scenes that others have. I'm looking in particular for The Risen Christ, Jesus at Cana, The Virgin Mary, Mara, Madeline, Sarah, Sharon, the angel Estella and the little girl usually described as "girl with open arms." Oh, and the Nativity cats. I think that's so charming. I love to learn about Fontanini and other makers of Nativity scenes. That's about it. Thanks for having me!
Robin

Welcome Robin. No doubt you are on your way to growing your collection. Sounds like you've been bitten by the Fontanini Bug.

Robin I was looking for a couple of figures myself and found a few you are interested in on the below website: www.candycanechristmas.com/store/You can search their online store. They have the cats, the Risen Christ, Madeline, Sharon, and Jesus at Cana for sure. All are discounted off the regular price. I have been to this store in the past and shopped with them a couple of times. They are located west of Toledo, Ohio. It is a neat store.
